About Us
SignArt is a nationally ranked sign
manufacturer, with facilities in Michigan and Oregon. The company
was founded in 1971 as a design, manufacturing, installation, and
maintenance provider of commercial, electrical, and architectural
signs. Also provided are electronic message centers, time and temperature
signs, sports shelters, score boards, bleacher seating and flag poles.
The name SignArt evolved from our corporate sensitivity to a growing
public awareness of the visual environment. As time has passed, this
corporate philosophy has proven very successful. We have succeeded
in balancing general community needs with the commercial, industrial,
or institutional needs of our customers.
SignArt's continued success comes from working smart and keeping an
ever alert eye to the future. Our attention to providing quality,
value, and customer service is supported internally through extensive
investment in the areas of computerization (CAS, CAE, CAD, CAM and
database analysis), product development, comprehensive employee training
and education, and safety and quality assurance programs.

Selecting a Sign Manufacturer
When it comes to the complexity of
lighted and architectural sign products, finding the right supplier
may at first appear difficult. However, it does not have to be difficult
if you evaluate the providers by determining and evaluating the following:
- How long have they been in business?
- Do they present themselves and their product professionally?
- Is on-premise signage the company's primary product?
- Have they substantially demonstrated their abilities and capabilities?
- Who are their customers?
- Are they professionally managed with a consistent track record?
- Does the proposal reflect value through quality as well as
through price?
- Do they respond quickly, efficiently, and in a comprehensive
manner?
- What skills have they demonstrated in obtaining permits and
zoning variances?

Production Capabilities
SignArt's capital and training
investment per employee is unparalleled in the sign manufacturing industry.
This investment reflects our dedication to research and improvements in
our technology, processes, and ultimately our products. This technology
and ability is apparent in our centrally located, modern facilities, and
allows our customers to benefit from a significant and consistent edge in
the value they receive.
SignArt has over 100,000 square feet of administrative, manufacturing,
and storage facilities in Michigan and Oregon. At these facilities
are all personnel and equipment necessary to perform any project with
efficiency.
SignArt's dedication to being a technology
and productivity leader is exemplified by:
- SignArt LED and neon products are produced by formally trained technicians
with precise tolerances achieved through the newest equipment.
- Material specification and usage which is optimized through second
and third generation computerized engineering programs which continue
to evolve.
- The uniformity, standardization, and consistency achieved through the use
of process descriptions, database files, and computer-aided manufacturing machines.
- The knowledge that correct manufacturing procedures are not compromised due to lack of the proper equipment or an untrained worker.

Customer Service
Customer Service is not just a buzz word plugged conveniently into the
SignArt vocabulary. Customer service and value are tangible products,
and are the most important elements of our tradition. Our customer service
is proactive . . . we determine the needs of our customers, provide the
administration, organization, and experience in producing the product
with the sense of urgency needed to fulfill the customer's delivery requirements
and exceed their expectations.
Comprehensive sign design and products are provided to clients of
all types and sizes. SignArt is proud of the fact that almost every
product we provide is designed, manufactured, installed, and maintained
by our own staff. For national accounts, our network of experienced
subcontracting installers provide local expertise and influence
on the permitting process. From a single, small directional sign,
to the multi-location, complete turnkey name/logo changes, SignArt
does it all . . . efficiently and professionally.
No matter how large or complex the project, SignArt account supervisors
have the experienced administrative, technical, and production staff,
and the systems in place that are necessary to achieve optimal performance
and customer satisfaction. Our product is much more than the physical
sign which at some point is installed. It is the visual format of a sign,
color selection, development of a complete sign system, the process of
obtaining zoning variances, or the management of a multi-location name
change. Our comprehensive management, communication, and motivational
systems are continuously evolving.
Whether a project involves one location or a hundred, we have the ability
to perform. These systems allow us to track each order during its project
cycle, so we are able to keep the customer informed on its progress. This
methodology also allows us to affect necessary changes quickly and easily.
Your project will be assigned to an account management team
which will work with you to determine your sign needs and
coordinate every aspect of the process from inception to completion.
They will optimize your signage within demographic, site,
location, governmental, and budgetary constraints, and present
multifaceted proposals with alternatives in a clear, concise,
well-organized format to assist in your decision making process.
It is our goal to provide the product you need . . . doing
it right the first time, every time.
